I was working in Manila from April 2006 to March 2007. Last Valentines since i was not here with my family I sent a card for my dad. I mailed it last week of January so that dad will receive it before the heart day. It was the first time that I gave him a card and wanted to surprise him at least even a simple card to let him know that i love him and care for him.
I keep on counting the days coz I was really excited also for him to get my card and read the message inside that i've wrote. He didn't knew that i sent him coz i want to surprise him. I know it was only me who will give dad a card. My other siblings doesn't coz honest we are not used to it. But what happened was, heart day comes and still he didn't have the card. I was so disappointed and wondered where it goes.
I resigned in my work on March and came home here. The card didn't arrived yet and ask dad to check at post office but post man says, no card received. It was disappointing but funny coz dad got the card on April, 2 months after.

very sweet, lipay jud to imong papa,my sisters and i did that to my father years ago too, when we were all studying somewhere. The most touching thing was when i was looking for something in their locker years after and the card we sent fell,gitaguan jud.Touch to the max jud me, Makahilak sad ta hehee!:)
