Here's how the story goes:

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating

room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right?

When can I see him?'

The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'

Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'

The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of

the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the

university.'

Sally

asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She

ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you

like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse

cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to

Sally.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University

for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first,

but Jimmy said, ' Mom , I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will

help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom .' She went

on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else.

Always wanting to help others if he could.'

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after

spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with

Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house.

She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of

his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his

room exactly where he had always kept them. She lay down across his bed

and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

'Dear Mom ,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget

you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'.

I will always love you, Mom , even more with each day. Someday we will

see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so

you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and

old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she

probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy

her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and

Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it

will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love

to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of

his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself

took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee

and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him

that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and

everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what

Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you

this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to

drop this letter off to you. God said for me t o give you the answ er

to one of the questions you asked Him 'where was He when I needed him?'

'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was

on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom , no one else can see what I've written except you. To

everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I

have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names

in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for

supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all

gone.. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God

couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The

Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery!

It's my 4th month here in Arizona

Time is running so very fast. I am already 4 months here in Arizona with my husband. Everything is so wonderful. Every celebration is first time for me and so with Jeff. We just celebrated our first Thanksgiving, my first birthday with him, and soon Christmas and New year. We are both so excited everyday. We make each day a special one. I am very happy and so lucky for having such a loving, caring, and responsible husband. I honestly can say that he's a perfect husband. I know many of us here has a husband that we dreamed of but many also hasn't. So I wanna thank God for this wonderful gift, Jeff.

Cosmetology Colleges

Coming here in US is not easy. We had to do all the immigration processing and the waiting. It's a very wonderful feeling though when my fiancee visa was approved because at last I will be with my man forever. Although we have to do the citizenship processing again now but at least we are together now. But, what kind of work we can do here? I knew some people who has Bachelor degrees but when they arrived here they can't even practice it. We can't do anything with that and what we should do is to find a way for us to have work later. Just like what my sister's college friend did, she enrolled in one of the cosmetology colleges. Now she have work. She can help her husband in some bills payment. It's a nice move she made.

Birthday presents from husband

Jeff gave me camera and hair In styler on my birthday. On Thanksgiving day, Jeff kept on asking me what do I want for my birthday. I know we are little tight on money this time so I just chose not so expensive one. I told him I want a camera, and In styler, Jeff told me to chose only one. I was the one who ordered the camera online so I knew already that he will give me. But he was the one who received it when UPS delivered it. Jeff kept it and gave on my birthday. I didn't knew that Jeff got the In styler too coz he told me to choose one which is the camera.

My 25th Birthday

I had a very nice birthday. Jeff and mom surprised me. Jeff woke me up and say mom made me a pan cake but it made me cry. It's mixed feelings, happy coz it's my special day and sad because of my brother. They got my favorite chocolate cake, balloons and 2 gifts. Jeff gave me a canon SD1100 camera and hair In styler. We had lunch at Olive Garden and dinner at Chinese Buffet. Jeff and mom made my birthday so wonderful. It's my best birthday ever.

Buy Medical Supplies Online

Online shopping is very common nowadays. Everything that we can buy in our local stores can be found also in online stores. Sometimes there are more available products online. I’ve noticed that buying online is just same with buying locally. Well I think most of the times it’s more comfortable to me. I hate to be in long lines in paying the goods I have. I realized that it’s better to order online and wait for the product to be delivered at home. Not unless we need the thing right away, but if not it's better to wait. Goodbye Bro

As I've metioned the other day, my brother died last December 12th, my birthday. He just turned 35 years old last month. Married for 1 year and has a 1 year old baby boy. At first I don't understand why he just left us. Now I understand that it's all God's plan. He just took away the pain that my brother were suffering. This is my family in Philippines, my papa, brother's and sisters, taken on my farewell party. My brother who just passed away in a blue shirt. He's very happy for me and Jeff.


I saw his face yesterday morning on cam. My sister let me saw him on YM. Was crying early morning. So sad to see him not alive anymore. He didn't even got a chance to read the Christmas card that Jeff and I sent him. By the way, my sister's cam were crazy yesterday. I can see them fast but it became my face. We never experience before. I can see my face on my sister's cam. I forgot to just capture the screen. I used my cam. Take a look at this.

Cold and Rainy Days

Starting last monday, it's very cold here and raining. I don't like rain honestly coz when I was in Philippines there is rainy season. My husband like when it's raining though coz here in Arizona it's seldom to have rain. Now, it stopped but will rain again later. I saw on news that this week will be raining. I always tell my husband that it's very cold and he just smile. Coz he said this is nothing yet. It was only 48 Fahrenheit and I am complaining that it's cold. He said it will be 30 degrees soon. Oh my God, I can't imagine myself in a snowy state. I'm feel lucky.

Online Education

Education is one of the very important things that a person should have. It is one thing that no one could ever steal from us. In today’s time, many people are doing the online degree which anyone could do, learning from home with the use of computer and internet. Some people chose to get a degree online than going to school. It will just depend on self-motivation. I might do it one day. I am planning to continue my nursing degree online one of these days. I really want to finish my nursing course. It’s still different to have a degree than nothing.

Filipino Food

I ordered some Filipino food online. Thanks God there is online Filipino Store. I have sardines, pancit canton and lucky me pancit canton. I also ordered Chippy, sinigang mix, ginisa mix and efficascent oil but didn't use it. Now I only have one sardines left so I need to order again soon.

I miss lechon baboy

Every now and then, I am missing Filipino food. I miss lechon and dinuguan so much. I can't find any restaurant here serving this kind of food. Maybe at Casa Filipina but I forgot to ask about dinuguan. I knew they served lechon baboy but only on special holiday just like last Thanksgiving Day and maybe this Christmas. The lady told me when mom and me picked up the lechon kawali the day before Thanksgiving. We are planning to order lechon baboy this Christmas, just maybe 5lbs coz it's $12 per lb. It's really expensive here. I'm glad my husband always asked me what food I want and just let me have them. The last time I ate lechon baboy was 2 days before I left Philippines, on my farewell get together with my family.

What Flooring?

Jeff and I are planning to change our flooring sooner or later. It's a lot of work for me our tile floor this time. Need to brush them to really take the dirt in between. We just don't know yet what exactly we are going to use. For sure, wood flooring doesn't suit our house style. We are considering granite or marble flooring.

I just remember when I was still in Philippines during my college days and before I came here. in US. I was living at my sister and brother in law's house. My sister's husband was so certain in every little that he would put in the home theater. The home theater seating were nice and I felt comfortable every time I sit on them. But sometimes I like to just lay my back and watch movies in the room.

Each place and country are affected with the economy problem. My husband says that this is the worst economy ever as he can remember. We have no choice but to budget and buy only those things that are really necessary. We should be wise in spending every single penny that we have. Got Notices from USCIS for my AOS, EAD and AP

Yesterday when I opened our mailbox I saw letters from USCIS regarding my application. I'm happy and excited because they surely got it. Today, we also got my biometrics appointment which should be on the 31st of this month. Everything happen altogether this month. Both sad, happy and exciting news.

Lots of happenings this month

I feel so lazy again lately until now. I don't feel like doing anything. Was so excited last week coz we are waiting for the notice from the USCIS for my Adjustment of Status application. I was so excited also for my birthday last friday, but something happened so unexpected. It was December 10 in Philippines when my brother was at Intensive Care Unit in Polymedic hospital coz of pacreatitis. The next 2 days he died, exactly my birthday. That day I didn't know what to do. I can't believe he left on my special day. I didn't know I'f I should be happy coz it's my day or I should be sad coz my brother passed away. We'll my husband and my mom in law tried to make me smile. They gave me a wonderful birthday. I woke up with balloons, cakes and gifts. They sang happy birthday but instead of smiling and being happy, I cried coz I remember my bro. The whole time I think of him and can't help it. Right now, his body is at our home in the province. Everyone is there, my family, and I am here. It's sad coz I can't go home to see him for the last time. I don't have green card yet. We just got the notice from USCIS today that they received my AOS, EAD and Advance Parole application.

He's a wonderful brother, the last time I saw him was September 24th online. I got to hugged him at the Cagayan de Oro Airport before I left Philippines coz he came to say goodbye to me. Maybe tomorrow or next day, I will see him online, coz my family will let me see him on cam.

We just mailed my Adjusment of Status Application

Last November 25, we mailed my AOS to USCIS. Now I am waiting for the notices from them. I am so excited but makes me nervous a little bit coz this time, it's only who workedo n the papers. There's no immigration lawyer coz it's expensive. I'll pray that I did everything right.
