Last year this month and day was the day we got married. It was really a very special day with so much love and happiness. It's so amazing how closer and in love we are each day. We are both very thankful to God for giving us a wonderful 1st year of marriage. There's nothing more we could ask for because God blessed us with joy and love. And now, our beautiful baby girl Mac. She is such a blessing to us. Baby Mackenzie is more than any gift that we could ask for. What an anniversary gift that Jeff and I has. Thank you so much God!!

Hello to all my friends. Just a quick update here in my page. Finally, the waiting is over. Our baby girl Mac is with us now. I have her delivered last Friday October 23rd at 2:11pm. She is 6lbs 12oz. It was really a big day for us. We are very very happy for having her in our arms.

I am 3cm Dilated

We went to my ob-gyn this morning for my pelvic exam. My doctor was happy because our baby didn't came out yet while he went to a vacation last weekend. I didn't want to have it without him too and have other doctor to deliver our baby. hehe!! Hubby and I are very much excited when my ob told me that I am now 3cm dilated. I was 1-2cm dilated last Wednesday. He said if I won't have the baby yet by this weekend then my next check up will be on Monday. Wow!!this is really it!!I can't wait to have my baby girl in my arms soon. I know it will not be easy to have labor and pushing but I will and I can make it. So guys, please pray for my safe, healthy and fast delivery. Thanks a lot in advance!!

Spotting after Pelvic Exam Today

I was a little worried today because I had spotting after the pelvic exam this morning. I felt very light contractions and not that bad which I ignored and went to sleep. So what I did is research about it and I am glad it is normal and nothing to worry about. I was honestly a little bit nervous and excited by then because it might be a a sign of labor and I really can't wait to be with our baby. I didn't tell my husband during the spotting and contractions coz I know him, he will panic. I just told him after his work. It was a good move I did for not telling my husband and just read same topics here online. Nways, I'm gonna get ready for bed now. I am a bit tired coz we had our second prenatal class education for 3 hours. It was interesting and very educational. One more to go next Wednesday, I hope if baby can wait. Just Got Home from my Weekly Ob Appointment

Finally I am on my weekly check up of my pregnancy. We just got home from the clinic and everything is very fine. My ob checked how many cm I am now and it is 1- 2 cm. He said I might have the baby earlier than the due date. He told me not yet this weekend though because he's going to a vacation. I need to hold then, I wish but if the baby is ready to come out then there's nothing I can do. Jeff and I are very excited and can't wait to be with our baby. Btw, tonight will be our second pre-natal education class. Everything is getting fast right now.

Vacation Destination in Mexico

There are thousands of popular vacation destinations in the world. I am honestly surprise and amaze of those places every time I see them on tv or magazines. I haven't been to any one of them but wishing to be there one day and experience, enjoy and explore the beauty. One place that I want to visit some day is Mexico. It is not that far from here though but no plan yet for now. I know that going and being there will be fun and exciting. To Wear Tuxedo on Wedding

My husband and I keeps talking about our wedding in the Philippines when we go visit back our family. It is way too far from now but we can't avoid to talk about it sometimes. We are very excited and we can't wait to finally have our church wedding with our family. They are all looking forward to it also. By that time, our daughter will be 2 years old so she can be one of the flower girls. Isn't it cute to see her with flowers at the aisle? Well, I am glad that hubby is very fine to have a catholic church wedding even though he is not a catholic. It's just a matter of compromise because I wasn't a baptist too but we go to baptist church here in Arizona. So it will be fun for sure, the only thing that hubby requested is for him to wear tuxedos during that day. I said of course whatever comfortable to him. I couldn't imagine my husband also wearing the normal grooms formal wear in the Philippines which we call barong.

36 Weeks of Pregnancy

I am now on my 36 weeks of pregnancy and really almost there. Next week my baby will be considered as a full term which means that I will be overcoming the pre-term and hopefully will not have the post-term also. I honestly think and anybody who sees me that my tummy is now low. She is drop down on my pelvis and it makes me go back and forth to the bathroom twice as much as before. I am getting nervous and very excited right this moment. I can't wait to be with our baby girl and so with her dad.

Piano Sight Reading

I always get amazed of people who can play piano with or without looking at any sheets. Actually, I admire people who knows how to play any instrument. I just don't have great talent on playing any instruments so that is why I am talking this way. I have played a lyre when I was in grade school and high school but nothing else. I've tried to learn how to play a guitar but it didn't last long, I gave up.

Well, I know how to play abcd and happy birthday on piano but thats it. It's embarrassing I know because even a little kid can play them too but it is the truth. I have seen many kids who can play piano so very well even without chords. They have talents in sight reading music or may be they really study and mastered everything. I hope someday I can do it because I love piano.

Childbirth Education Class

We are going out tonight from 6:30pm til 9:30 for childbirth education class. It will be our first class, Jeff and I are both excited to attend the class. We've been looking forward to learn lots of things from the class. There will be 3 classes that we'll be having which is once a week every wednesday night for 3 weeks and tonight is the first one. I know that this class will be very helpful and useful to me and Jeff especially that this is our first baby. These are the reasons why childbirth education is very important:

Charlie Horse Cramps

There was a time in my pregnancy like 2 or 3 weeks ago that I experienced leg cramps which is called the charlie horse. It was painful every time I stand and walk. Thank God it's gone now with the help of exercising my calf at the gym and eating banana every day. I think it helps a lot which I read while looking for a cure online. I have read that it is a normal problem of pregnant women just like indigestion. I am lucky I don't have it now because some of them took months and even their entire pregnancy. Mine only took less than 2 weeks. The only complain I have now is the indigestion but not that bad anymore. I figured out how to not have it at bed time. I just don't eat too much at dinner.

I have known cigarettes since when I was a kid and all I know is that they have different flavors. I often see them in stores and to people who uses it. It is a smaller size of a cigar. I honestly tried cigarettes before when I was working In Manila but it wasn't always. Most of my co workers smoked and they sometimes invited me to smoke with them. I've never seen somebody using cigar in person only in movies. Wow cigars like Padron cigars looks big and I think it takes a while to use the whole thing not like cigarettes which only takes a minute or two.

TV Mounts

I'm trying to figure out how and where to put the tv at the baby's room. There's no enough space to put it in even though it's just a small tv. I don't want to put another table at the room because right now the space is very limited. I am considering mounts but not sure yet. We have to have tv or else it will be boring when me and the baby will stay there during the day. Well, we will figure it out!

Grocery Shopping

It's Saturday again and its time to go grocery shopping. I am not ready yet and still here in front of my laptop. I will take shower in a minute. One of the high lights of my day aside from grocery shopping is to eat out with my mother in law and I am in the mood of having In-N-Out, I love their burger and those fries with cheese on top. I always ask for extra onions every time I eat. Mmmm Yummy!!My mouth is now watery from thinking of the fries and burger. Gotta go take shower now. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

35 Weeks of Pregnancy, Now Curious about Labor

Some of you knows about my pregnancy from day 1 until now which is my 35 weeks. I'm almost there and I am honestly curious right now on what will happen in the next few days. I had my ob-gyn appointment this morning and my doctor said that everything is perfect. The baby is on the right position which is her head is in my lower abdomen and and her foot on the upper left side of my tummy. While me and my husband were in the clinic with the doctor, we didn't realized right away that it is really a very good news because everything is on the right track. I've known some women who had their babies with the foot came out first instead of the head. As soon as we got out from the clinic then that was the time that we started to realize the good news.

Right at this moment, I am little bit nervous but more excited of our baby girl. I tried to read about signs and symptoms of labor to be prepared. I want to know in advance what will happen soon. At least I will be aware of the true labor signs and should contact my ob-gyn whenever I will experience the below list:
