When I gave birth of my daughter last October, we did not send baby announcements because we were too busy holding her and taking care of her. It didn't came to our mind to send cards to our family and friends to let them know. Maybe because we didn't know what to do during that time and we were too excited of our baby. After a month Jeff decided to do it but I just told him not to anymore since everybody know it already. All our family saw the baby photos. I have no idea really about baby announcements and so with Jeff, it is new to us.

Like you said. Don't worry about baby announcements. Everyone knows you have a new baby. If you want to have a get together. You could send out come meet the baby invitations. You might even get some neat gifts.
i can see myself with you the time I gave birth to my first child...but as the time goes by you can discover things that would be helpful in raising your kid. happy three kings.
