It's Time For Mackenzie's First Trick or Treat

So, it's time for Mackenzie's first trick or treat. But right now she is still sleeping. She's tired from our grocery shopping. We didn't go yesterday because we had to go somewhere with Jeff to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Anyway, I guess I have to make some noise here so Mackenzie will wake up. Excited For Christmas Decorations?

Soon it will be time to decorate for Christmas. Putting on Christmas trees, Christmas lights and garland all over the house. It is my favorite time of the year. I am getting excited about it now. I can't wait to buy a real Christmas tree again this year and play Christmas songs. We just need to wait couple more weeks then after thanksgiving day we can start decorating. I know some of you have your Christmas decorations already. My sister in Philippines have her decorations on since last month. I understand because there's no thanksgiving day there so that's why they can start decorating early.

Happy 2nd wedding anniversary to me and my husband. We are both very happy and very proud of being married for two years now. It is truly a wonderful achievement for me and him. We are both in love more than ever, closer than ever and happy than ever.

I woke up the other day and noticed the pimples in my forehead. I am disappointed because this is the first time that I got three at the same time. Normally I just get one. Our Daughter Mackenzie's 1st Birthday

I just want to share some photos from last October 23rd during Mackenzie's 1st birthday. It was a very fun day to everyone especially to me and my husband. We are so happy because God give as an angel 1 year ago and now she is 1 year old. We just love her so very much.

My Dad Needs A Bone and Joint Supplement

We WIll Have Our Flu Shots Sunday

Jeff and I will have our flu shots this coming Sunday. I just called cvs pharmacy for an appointment. It is necessary for us to have the shots for our own good and for our baby. How about you guys, did you have yours yet? Maybe or maybe not our insurance will cover it but if not then we'll have to pay ourselves. Anyways, I just realize that it's now Friday and tomorrow is grocery shopping day. Tomorrow also we will buy the things that we need for Mackenzie's birthday next Saturday. Then Sunday, our family time. We will buy some presents for Mackenzie and our flu shots. It'll be a busy weekend for us. 

Struggling To Lose Weight?

Many people are struggling to lose weight. I know it is not so easy to lose weight because I am having a little bit problem with my weight after pregnancy also. Ready For The Cold Weather?

For sure Mackenzie needs plenty of sweaters because all those clothing she had last year doesn't fit her anymore. You know babies grows so fast.

Copper Kitchen Sinks

While browsing the net, I came across a copper kitchen sink for the first time. It does really look great but the prices are a little expensive compared to the kitchen sink that we have right now. So I don't know if we are going to have this kind of sink when it is time to fix our kitchen counter. Let's see by then but for now we can't decide yet which is which.

I am thinking how it will look like to have roller shades made of bamboo in our bedroom windows. I imagine our bedroom will have a nicer look. I would love the smell and the look for sure. Too Late Now For A Filipino Roasted Pig (Lechon)

I just called Pepe Pinoy Lechon this morning to inquire about the lechon. Jeff and I are planning to order for Mackenzie's birthday next week but it's too late now.  They need a month or so notice. I should have called a month earlier. Sigh! It is impossible to have it by next week. So instead of ordering it for Mackenzie's natal day. We decided to have it on my birthday on December. Gosh! I have been craving for Filipino lechon for more than 2 years. So I am so excited!! It's a little expensive here in the US of course and that's normal. We will have a medium size which is 50-55 lbs for $270 plus delivery fee. I'm glad my husband just said okay for the price. In fact, he's been asking where to buy lechon every time he has Filipino client. He was so excited to tell me yesterday.  

Our New York Vacation

It was last week of July 2008 when we visited New York for our vacation. We have visited most of the tourist attractions. I can honestly say that it was a great vacation we had. Aside from those wonderful places we visited, we also watched baseball and some show. We stayed for 5 days and 6 nights at the hotel in Manhattan. We purchased our Yankee and Wicked tickets online because it was a lot easier for us to do. Well, nowadays really, buying anything online is way faster and easier. We order, pay online and print! As easy as that.

Sometimes It Is The Linens

There are some nights when we couldn't just sleep right away or we are trying to sleep but something is wrong and we couldn't figure out. New Water Filter

It's been a while also when our drinking faucet got broke so we have to buy bottled waters every now and then. There was no enough water coming out and we can see the water not so clean. Finally, last week we decided to contact a plumber to fix it. It wasn't only the water filter but another part of the water system got broke so we needed other part also. Now it is working properly and we don't need to spend money for bottled water only for Mackenzie and it is not a lot. Fixing our drinking faucet is one way of saving money and it makes a difference.

Wood Stove

Soon it will be winter and it will be cold. Then it is time to turn on the fireplaces to keep us warm during cold weather. It is just perfect here in Arizona where I live. We don't use our fireplace always inside our house. How about when we are outside and we want to enjoy the nice weather but it's a little chilly. A Wood Stove will be a wonderful thing to have when outside. It will be the best idea to save money.
