I know that breast feeding is best for babies because it can reduce infections in babies, boost a babies immune system and prevent obesity that's why I chose to do with Mackenzie. I am also giving her formula at the same time though because of some reasons. First, I find it so hard for me to feed her while we go grocery shopping and second, I think I don't have that much
breast milk, I mean I have but not a leaky breast kind.
Before my daughter Mackenzie turned 1 year old last month, I told myself that I will only breast feed her until her first birthday because there were times when she keeps biting my nipples and it is so painful. But the day after her birthday, when I was decided to not breast feed anymore, she keeps on crying and I honestly don't want to see her cry. So I gave her and until now. She don't bite anymore though so I will give to her as long as I can. It just make her feel calm. Anyway, I just found out from a research that breast feeding can also benefit us mothers. Breastfeeding can reduce the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. I didn't know before that it can benefit mom's also not only the babies. Now that I know, I will be spreading the good news more than ever to my family and friends.
