I Posponed My Driving Class!

When I woke up yesterday morning I didn't feel well. I started to have runny nose and sneezing. I was hoping that it will be gone right away but it didn't. And last night I felt cold so I told my husband that if I won't feel better the following morning which is this morning as soon as I woke up, I am not going to my class. Since I woke up with a little headache, I said okay I'm gonna do it next Saturday. It would be fine if it's just a quick class but it's not. It is a whole day class and I don't think it's right for me to go. We will resume our grocery shopping instead of going tomorrow. Still not feeling 100% well but I can manage. It's not a whole day event so it's okay. Nways, hope we all will have a wonderful weekend! Have to get ready now. 

Providing Our Baby Needs

First time moms like me still has a lot of learning to do which we learn as we take care of our babies each day. Baby Security Blanket and Hip Baby Carrier are just some of the things that we have to provide our child. These things are not a must but it helps our baby feel safe, secure and closer to us. When I got pregnant I thought it will be hard as soon as my baby arrives but it wasn't. I've learned everything by myself and I realized that it is not difficult. Taking care of my baby and making sure that she gets what she need each day is very important. Food, clothing, love, care and many more. 

Bonding to make your baby feel safe is necessary as well and parents like us should consider it as priority.  Spending quality time with our baby benefits both parents and the child. Most parents that has time for their children has closer relationship and that's what it's supposed to be. It is our responsibility to find ways to make it happen. No matter how busy parent/parents you are, you have to make sure that you still have time to cuddle with your child. 

Off to Bed

It's already 12:15am right now and we're still awake. My daughter is still here beside me playing. We are both waiting for my husband to come join us. As usual he's still working until midnight and sometimes until 1am and wakes up at 4am every morning. Isn't it crazy? Anyway, I got my iphone today. I'll share some photos tomorrow if possible. Buying My First Car

Since I am going to a driving school and will surely know how to drive soon, the next thing to do is to buy my own car. It doesn't matter to me if it is a new or used car. But of course, a not too old car maybe a five years old or newer would be great. I am decided to buy a Honda CR-V car soon. My husband just let me choose what car I want as long as it's not those luxury cars. It's not practical to buy one especially in this economy. 

The car dealers are just five minutes drive from where we live so it would be fast when we buy my car. Which means that if ever I will need a Honda repair shop to fix some issues of my Honda CR-V, it will just be close and faster. I can't wait to drive and have my very first car.

No Swimming Pool By Next Year

We don't get to enjoy swimming in our pool ever since. Probably we use our swimming pool less than five times a year. It's because it is too hot during summer and too cold other times. I love to swim in our pool but I hate the scorching sun. I hate getting sun burn! I would love to swim most of the time but not during summer when the temperature is over 103 degrees. Spring would be the best time for me because the temperature is perfect. I think we just need to look for solar pool covers to heat our pool. Maybe some days in summer time but I have to wait until the sun sets.

We have to enjoy our pool until this year only though because we are moving to a new house early next year. My husband and I decided not to have a swimming pool in our new house for safety reasons. Swimming pool is great but when you have a child so young like my daughter Mackenzie who is just turning two years old, you won't take a chance of risking her life. Our child's safety comes first. One day when she's grown up enough and knows how to swim, we can have a house with pool again. 

Driving Class and Written Test this Saturday

I am pretty busy studying the driver license manual this past few days. This coming Saturday, I will be having a class the whole day and the written test so I can have the instruction permit and start the driving with the instructor. Hopefully I will pass the test so I won't need to retake. So wish me luck guys! I am excited and at the same time nervous but I can do this. I really have no choice but to learn how to drive. It will make my life easier.

One Place That I Want to Visit

There are so many places that I want to visit someday. Just like everyone else, going to different places is my dream. Traveling just for fun while spending time with my family will be a perfect thing to do. My husband and I talked about traveling one day but as of now we are preparing for our trip to my home country, our church wedding and moving to a new house early next year. 

Anyhow, before I forget, one of those places that I want to visit with my family one day is Hawaii. I know that it is a perfect getaway destination. One of my friends and her boy friend went to Hawaii last month and she told me how wonderful the place is. There are Hawaii real estate for sale everywhere. It is a place that everyone would love so it is not impossible that we might decide to live there one day. Since we have plan to retire to other State also.

Non-stop Thunder and Lightning

Our high today in Arizona is only 103 degrees but it felt like higher than that. When we have 103 or 118 degrees it feels the same. The scorching sun made us so tired after we left a friend's birthday party today. However, it's raining cats and dogs right now outside with a lot of lightning and thunder. It is so scary! The lightning doesn't stops. I can see it here from the window. I am glad though I couldn't hear completely the continuous thunder and lightning that much here inside coz it really frightens me. OMG! I've never seen a non-stop lightning and thunder but here in Arizona! It's crazy! BTW, My husband went outside 20 minutes ago to throw the garbage in the can. The rain just started that time so we decided to put our car outside for free car wash. haha! 

It's Getting Closer

I am talking to my sister in the Philippines but she have to do something for a while and come back in a few minutes. We are both excited because December is getting closer and closer which means we’re going to see each other again after more than three years. We are also a bit sad because it is possible that she won’t be there during our visit. She and her boyfriend are doing their paper works also for her to join him in South Africa. Hopefully if ever she will leave the country before December, she can travel back to attend our wedding.

We are trying to be positive though that she will be there when we arrive. Anyway, I asked her to help me think of stuffs I will give to everyone. My other sister who has an apple Mac would like to have a laptop sleeve to protect it. I probably will get her one and I will buy it online since there are many options of macbook air sleeves available to purchase without me going somewhere. I know there are still too many stuff to buy for everyone and I am trying to buy some every now and then. I have three months to buy everything and send it in advance for it will take around two months for the package to arrive to the Philippines.

I Signed Up For Driving

Okay so finally I decided to do the driving. I just called ABC Driving yesterday and I signed up for the class. I have to be in the school next Saturday from 8am until 4pm. I am pretty nervous but excited because I can't wait to drive. It's been hard for my husband doing the driving for me wherever I need and want to go. It will be a very big help for him and for me too especially that I have a daughter. It will take pressure off of him. So I need to study the drivers manual in order for me to pass the test for the driving permit. I know that's one of the purpose of the class but it's better to self study also.

Still Fresh In my Mind

It's been a month now since my daughter got sick of pneumonia on her left lung. She had to stay in the ICU for one day. It seems like it was just yesterday. I can't forget every moment of that day when we had to brought her to the emergency room. Every test that doctors and nurses did to her on that exam table is still very fresh in my mind. It is very sad to think about and heart breaking. Thanks to God my daughter is back to normal now. There's nothing more painful than seeing my daughter like that.

Watching Final Destination

This is indeed a horror movie. I know this is a movie from 2009 but I didn't get a chance to watch this movie so I am watching it now. Since Mackenzie was born, my husband and I didn't go to the movie theater anymore. Nobody will baby sit our daughter so I do 24/7. It is very scary. We'll it's just a movie but I don't know why these people won't listen to their friends. They could have save their lives if they did. Oh well! I'll concentrate watching now while Mackenzie is sleeping.

Buying Scrubs Online

I talked to my friend who also lives here in AZ couple days ago and she told me how hard it is to study and work at the same time. She is a caregiver and she is trying to study and to be an LPN. Since I am planning to get LPN next year and pursue the nursing after, it makes me a little nervous. She said that one of the subjects that she's taking right now is the human anatomy which really requires a lot of time. I know it because I took human anatomy during my nursing preparatory course way back 2004.

Electronic Cigarette for my Father

My father has been told by his doctor to stop smoking because of his health condition. He did it but after a while he started smoking again. I honestly worry for my my father and I wish I could make he stop completely. I understand that it is not that easy to stop smoking especially when have been doing it for so many years. I've seen my father smoking since when I was a child so it would be hard for him.

I care for my father and I want to do something for him. Since it is not possible to make him stop smoking, I will give him e-cigarette when we visit my home country end of this year. It is better than smoking the real cigarette. Hope he will like it and I can make him happy. It will make a difference to his health.

Stanchions for Crowd Control

How important is it to have stanchions in controlling crowd? It is very important because it really helps to make lines in order. When people are in line at the airport for instance and there is no velvet rope for crowd control, there is a big possibility that people will fight. Why? It’s because some people would try to insert in the line in front of you. I have seen it many times and it is just a mess. 

I saw a lot of public places that have barricades these days. Wherever I go I see orderly lines and it makes everything smooth and quick. Whether in a restaurant, in busy park, and even in a shopping mall, we can see stanchions. It doesn’t only make orderly lines but also it helps make the process faster compared to no stanchions.

A Day At The Park

It was right before Easter Sunday when our family decided to go to the park. The reason was to let my daughter and her cousin who just came from Texas for a visit. I met my brother-in-law, his wife and their only son for the very first time there since they stayed at my sister-in-laws house. So we went to McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and I loved the place. It is a huge park and very nice. There are Picnic Tables and Adirondack chairs around the park. I couldn’t believe how many people were there. It is indeed a great park to visit and I will go back there again as soon as the temperature goes down with my family. 

I honestly didn’t expect that the park is that huge and beautiful. There are plenty of Park Benches all over the place so it can accommodate a lot of people. I really like the Site Furnishings too, they are very pretty. It’s not just a park but a beautiful park. I’m going back there for sure one of these days. I want to see my daughter again run around, ride the train and the carousel and a lot more. There are so much fun things to do in the park; it is a very fun place for the family yet inexpensive way to bond.

Communication Error

My husband asked me earlier today to email him some photos from our Canon SD1100 camera. I got frustrated for an hour or two because of the "communication error" that always pops up on the camera screen every time I try to turn it on or connect the usb to my laptop. I kept trying many times, turning on and off the camera, removed the battery and sd card and even restarting my laptop. I thought maybe there's something wrong with it. But then, I started researching topics regarding communication error of canon sd1100, I found the solution. I just needed to delete photos, I tried maybe 20 photos first but it didn't helped. So I decided to delete like more than 200 photos and it worked. I felt relieved then because both my camera and laptop isn't broke but I was a little worried. Normally when the sd card memory is full, it will tell us but it didn't.

Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration

Have you ever experience when your house got damage from fire? I did experience it once at the house where I grew up. It was the first and last experience I had and I am really hoping that it won't happen ever again. It is so scary when your house is on fire. You wouldn't know what to do. If you want to run or save some things. 

It will depend on how strong the fire is because if it's not then you will have the chance to get some things and try to save but if it is then it will be better to stay away from it. Saving our own lives comes first. Anyway, you know sometimes fire can't damage the whole house just like what happened to ours. The aftermath was a lot of work because we need to clean it manually. Maybe if there was a restoration company back then like fire and smoke damage restoration austin. It would be easier than it was. We would have not done it ourselves which was so hard and tiring because we didn't have the right equipment to use.

Speaking of Food

These photos were taken when we were at LA. It's Jollibee and Chowking! I had to find the Filipino fast food chain and eat these foods because it's been almost 3 years since the last time I've eaten. I was so happy that I finally taste them again. I was even thinking of bringing some back here. Hopefully one day Arizona will have Chowking and Jollibee. It would be so great! 

I Need to Diet and Exercise

Our long awaited vacation to the Philippines will be in 5 months. I am very excited but a little bit worried of my weight because for sure I will gain weight there. I can just imagine now eating all my favorite food in every meal. So I have a plan if I could make myself do it. I need to lose weight before December so I won't need to worry about gaining any weight. Probably going to the gym again and proper diet. Sometimes it makes me think of taking diet pill because I saw this pill at buyapidexin.com and it looks promising but scared to try. I never tried any diet pill before so can't blame myself. I might just workout and diet and try to lose weight without taking any pill.

Missing the Adirondack chair

The last time I sit on an Adirondack chair was when I was a child. We normally have the chair at our backyard just so we can sit back and relax whenever we want. It is not a fancy kind of chair but it is nice and simple. I don't see any chair like it since then. Until I saw it online and it makes me wants to buy one. I like the simplicity and above all it reminds me of my childhood at the province. Of course during those times, we still have all the members of our family intact.

Truck GPS

How important is it to have gps? I think it is very important to have gps wherever we go because it saves us time. Although some people maybe will say that it is not that necessary to own a gps but to millions of people it is. Especially to those people who got a job that requires a lot of driving. Let's say truck drivers, a truck gps would be so useful for sure. So why not have a gps to make your driving easier if you can? I will be driving sooner this year and I will surely need gps.

Gold Chains

Some people say that yellow gold chains are not in anymore these days. Just like the yellow gold watches, bracelets, necklace and other jewelry. Well maybe white gold is what we can often see that people are wearing these days but there are still many people who loves the yellow gold. I even see some celebrities wearing yellow gold jewelry. Gold is a precious thing that everybody adores. It doesn't matter if it's white or yellow.

What are your plans for tomorrow guys? Whatever it is, enjoy the day. We're just going out for lunch with our friends and that's it. We're not going to the pool because it's too hot and I don't think it is good for Mackenzie. Anyway, I just want to say HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY USA! God Bless us all!

Note Cards

Can you believe that half of the year is over now? Time flies so quick isn't it! Our little princess will be turning two in 4 months. She's getting big without noticing the time. Anyway, on her birthday, I will make sure to have Note Cards ready so I can just give them to those friends who will come. Last year I forgot to get some and I didn't get a chance to send even on the mail. Probably it won't be as many visitors just like last year though because some of our friends have conflict and so for that reason, even though I will invite each one, some won't come and that's understandable.
