I Missed Working Out!

I didn't go to the gym with my husband today because Mackenzie fall asleep before we even start to get ready. I really want to go to the gym to exercise every night but what can I do, I can't just wake up my daughter. If I do, she will be cranky and she will not enjoy playing at the klub. Working out makes me feel good just like everyone else who does. I go there to exercise, to spend time with my husband and because I want to stay physically healthy. I like it and I look forward to it every week nights except for some days when I am out with friends.

I usually print our photos at home but I stopped because I ran out of ink. I can just buy more ink but I didn't yet so I have hundreds of photos to take care of. A New Laptop

I've been wanting to have a new laptop because what I have right now is a bit big and heavy. I have an HP laptop, the 17 inch model. I would like to have smaller one but not too small also. Just the right size would be great. It's not possible to buy one this time though because we have lots of other important things to take care of first. I can wait and it is not really a must right now as long as my laptop is still working. But as soon as the right time comes, when we have extra money for my new laptop then we'll get one. For now, I will just look around and see what laptop I really would like to have. I will search online where can I find the latest laptops so I know where to go.

How Hot!

Summer here in Arizona is crazy hot. We all can't wait to cool down again. Can you imagine how hot it is here during summer? Oh! as in very hot. But winter is the best time of the year here in AZ. When most of the states are having snow and snow storms, our temperature is just perfect 45 to 70 degrees. Nways, it's gonna be weekend again. What are your plans? How Safe Are We In Our Own Home?

Our home is the place where we should always feel so comfortable and safe but are we really safe in our own home? How can we tell when we are safe and when we are not? Do you think making sure that our doors are locked at all times is enough for us to be safe? In my own opinion, it is safe but not as safe when we have home security athens. We just don’t really know when burglars will attack whether it is at night or day time

What I really like about having a home security alarm is that, I will know when someone opens the door because it beeps.  Then at night when we are in bedroom getting ready for bed time while watching shows and movies at Direct TV and until we are sleeping and doesn’t know what’s going on outside, we are rest assured that we are safe. I’ve never felt safe like this all my life because I grew up without security alarm in our home. Now, I can sleep at night with no worries and that’s what everybody should feel. All of us deserve to have a good night sleep.

I Have a Theory

I'd like to write about my favorite sitcom that I love to watch on www.SATellite911.com. The Big Bang Theory. I started watching this show mainly for Kaley Cuoco. I loved her character on 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, but when the show went off the air because of John Riter's death I was saddened. I had heard about Big Bang from my brother mentioning it, and he said it was funny so I thought I'd give it a try. I flipped the show on one night, and was hooked from that moment. 

For those of you who have not seen Big Bang, it is about 4 geeky friends (Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj who are all into comics, Star Wars, and science), they go to the same university, and they like to hang out together ALL THE TIME. Two of these friends live together in an apartment, and across the hallway from them lives a girl named Penny. She becomes friends with all of the nerds, and for obvious reasons nothing they talk about makes any sense to her. My favorite moment in the show was when Penny gives Sheldon, for his birthday, a napkin from her restaurant signed by none other than Leonard Nimoy himself. 

If there was one good thing my brother ever did for me, it was turning me on to this show.

Have An Amazing Week To All !

Weekend is almost over now and tomorrow is Monday again. Another week to look forward to and to enjoy with our love ones. Sundays are lazy days for me, I stay here in my bedroom the whole day unless it's meal time. I am here in bed in front of my laptop while Mackenzie is playing on the floor. All she does is go up and down from our bed and then play. We both are not feeling well because of congestion. Hopefully we'll be fine very soon. At least we don't have fever or headache. So anyways, in couple of hours, we have to attend a birthday celebration of my niece. I have to give my little angel a bath and I have to get ready too. Tonight, I will do some blog hopping for sure. Finally I Got My Permit

I went back to ABC Driving School last Saturday to have my certificate corrected. And finally today I went to the DMV with my husband and daughter to get my instruction permit. I am excited to hit a parking lot first then the road with my driving instructor. I will call the school tomorrow to schedule my driving. I will have 6 hours driving. I will start next week for sure.

Vacation Is Always Fun

My husband and always talks about going to vacations someday and it makes us so excited by just thinking about it. It would be so fun just like when we went to New York City last 2009. We just stayed there for 6 night and 5 days but we’ve been to many places and events. It’s very nice when we are on vacation because we worry for nothing. We don’t have to worry of cleaning or cooking our food because Restaurants are everywhere. During day time we visited places and events and before dining out we go to the hotel gym which most Hotels nowadays has one. There are two extra amenities that we always check when we choose a hotel, the internet connection and the gym.  

 

We also look for Coffee Shops nearby so we know where to get coffee every morning or some times of the day. My husband just loves coffee and I can tell that he can’t live without it. I drink coffee before but that much now. Actually, since I arrived here in the US, I can count on my fingers the times when I had coffee. Anyway, our last vacation was last year but it was only 2 days so nothing much we have done that time. By end of this year, we’ll be leaving for a two weeks vacation and we are so excited. This will be our longest vacation so far but hopefully one day it will be a month or so.

With Friends

Last Monday one of my friends picked me up at 10am. We went to Arizona Mills Mall because she had to meet a friend. We walked around and bought some clothes before her friend arrived. Then we had lunch right away at the RainForest Cafe as soon as her friend came. They just meet to eat lunch together and I was just invited. After her friend left, we went to some stores again to buy some more. There are lots of outlet stores at the mall and I like it there because it's cheaper than the stores at the mall where I often go. It was my first time to be there. I wanna go back there for sure soon. At 2:30 we left the mall and went directly to a friends house to go swimming and eat Filipino food. It was a long day for us but we had so much fun. I got home at 8:30pm. Hubby was still at the gym working out when I arrived. I skipped working out that night.

Dell Laptop Accesories

My father-in-law owns a dell laptop and I noticed that the battery doesn’t work well unless it is plugged to the main power. I’ve mentioned to him couple of months ago about buying a new Dell Laptop Battery so he can carry it wherever he goes because it’s been a while now. I think he dropped his laptop many times that’s why the battery is not working like normal now and not only that you can see that the outside is broken. Another thing that he should get is a Dell AC Adapter for back up. He usually forgets where he puts things so it would be great to just leave one at home and put the other one on his laptop case.

Bringing things from one place to another is one reason why we lose things. I will tell him also to buy a Dell DC Adapter of course. I am thinking of buying an extra battery for my HP laptop also. I just don’t know when but I will.

3 Years In USA Today

I can't believe that I am 3 years here in Arizona today. It doesn't feel like it really. On August 14th, 08 I arrived here in Arizona at 8am. I can't forget the 18 hours flight from NAIA to LAX. It felt like we were on the plane forever. I told myself that I will never ever be on a plane without my husband ever again. It wasn't my first time being on a plane but that was too long that's why I got scared a little bit. Anyway, for 3 years being here in Arizona, I can say that I am very happy. I am happily married with my husband and my best friend who knows how to take care of me, who loves me the most. I am with my little angel who brings so much joy to me and my husband. I honestly never been so happy like this. I am lucky that my relationship with my husband is closer than ever. I mean 10 times better since we've known each other. We always tell each other how lucky we are for being more in love than ever. Because I've heard many stories of couples who were in love at first but after a while of being married, they changed. They argue and fight often. I am so glad we are opposite.

How to Get Rid Of My Whiteheads

I don’t really have big issues with my face, my only complain is the whiteheads and I wish I know a Skin Care Products that can make all the whiteheads go away completely. Like everybody else, I wish to have a clear, smooth and soft skin. There must be something out there that would work for me. I don’t know any products because I am afraid to try. It scares me that if I apply something on my face and instead of making the whiteheads go away, it might get worse. I’ve heard and seen so many Acne Products at the store but I just don’t know which one would really work.

Should I just ignore my concern with my face or I should find a treatment for it? I am starting to think that sooner or later I will be using beauty products for any other problem like Age Spots.  If I will use anyway, why not start now right? At Wet n Wild Water Park With Friends

Me and my friends planned of going to Wet n Wild Water Park last Thursday but instead we went yesterday, Friday. I was so excited to finally be there with my daughter and with some friends. I will be 3 years here in Arizona tomorrow but I haven't been to any water parks until yesterday. My friends picked us here at home at 11am yesterday and we then picked up another friend. We had to dropped by at a grocery store to buy some food for our little ones and for us too. So we arrived at the park at 1pm, find a spot to sit and put on our swim suits then headed to fun part. It didn't felt so hot yesterday and we put sunscreen every now and then for our skin protection especially our kids. Lots of people in the park yesterday because it's Friday. We want to go back there again soon.

Rain Chains

Have you ever seen a rain chain?  I haven’t yet personally but I have seen some on tv.  I am so impressed with the gutter rain chain. It looks so attractive and decorative while its real purpose is for the rain water downspout. I find it so appealing for a house with a copper rain chains. Since I saw it on television, I always think about buying one. I just can’t get over it and I would really love our home to have garden rain chain. I know its not always that we get rain here where I live, maybe only more or less ten times in a year. Preparing For Our Church Wedding

It is every woman's dream to get married in church and walk down the aisle in front of the family and friends. It is one of the most exciting and wonderful moment of a woman's life. Of course it is to the grooms also but not as much as it is to women. Although it will be our second wedding because we got married at the court the very first time on October 2008, our church wedding will be as unforgettable as our court wedding.

My husband and I are very excited for this event because we'll get to do it in front my family. I can imagine how it's going to be like on that very special day. But first of all, before that big day to happen, we have to prepare everything. The wedding invitations should be one of the priorities that we have to prepare first. Our wedding won't be a huge one because only our immediate family and some close friends are invited. Sometimes in our life especially on the day which suppose to be a very special event and important to us, we have to make sure that only people we love and people who loves us are there. I want that day to be as simple but special as possible. So only those who are close to my heart will be witnessing my church wedding. 

Anyway, I will try to browse online and see if I can find discount wedding invitations. We have to make sure that we're not going to spend too much for this event or money that we don't have. Error On My Driving Class and Permit Test Certificate

We were on our way to the DMV this morning to get my driving permit card but then when I checked my driving permit certificate which I will show to the DMV, there's an error on it. On my birth date, the year is 1988 instead of 1983. So I called the driving school and told them about the error. They just told us to try and see if the DMV will accept it but if not we have go to the driving school office to get a corrected certificate. We didn't just go to DMV instead because I doubt that they will accept it. We'll just get a corrected one and show up at the DMV office with the right paper. I just don't know when we can go get it because the only way to get it is if my husband takes me there and he has busy schedule of appointments with customers lined up. It's not going to happen this week so we'll see next week or so.

Exhausted!

I had fun earlier today and now I am so exhausted. I was with friends until almost 6pm. One of my friends dropped us here at home and I hurried preparing protein shake for my husband and for me too. Then I had to change outfit for workout. We were late again arriving at the gym. I only had less than an hour left to do my exercise and it's time to pick up Mackenzie at the kids klub. I think I had enough tonight so it's okay. For now, I need to sleep and continue what needs to be done tomorrow. No plans for tomorrow so I will be at home the whole day. Do you guys have spice racks at your kitchen? What style is it you got there? I am thinking of buying some spice racks because every time I cook, I can't find right away the spices that I need. They are all in the cabinet and it is difficult to find most of the time. I know there are kitchen spice racks that I can buy with different sizes, different styles,and different materials. If I can get one soon it would make my cooking easier and faster. I just hate to see them not so organized too. 

A wall spice rack would be nice as well because I can just put it right in front of where I cook and just within my reach while cooking. It won't only save my time finding the spices that I will need but also it will look so organized which is great. I have no spice rack here at home this time but I have to make sure that soon I will have one.

Having Fun With Friends

At 10am this morning my husband dropped us off at a friend's house. We planned to have a get together a week ago with few more Filipina friends. Our host friend cooked Pork Soup with Tamarind and Fish Cooked in Vinegar. The food was delicious and I ate a lot. When it comes to Filipinos, we always have rice with any viand. Rice is a must when it comes to Filipino get together. It was fun really. We spent the whole time sitting in front of the table just talking, laughing and eating. We are planning to go to a water park this week but not sure what day yet. We are all looking forward to it.

Happy and Excited!

So I just passed the permit test today and I will be driving with the driving school professional instructor soon. I can’t hide the excitement after passing the test today. As soon as I got in the car when my husband picked me up at the ABC Driving School, I asked him when we are going to Honda Dealer to buy my first car. Well, we already talked about it, that we will get my car as soon as I can drive well already. I just asked him today just to check because he might change his mind after being so excited of me passing the test and having my driving permit soon.  

Anyway, as I’ve mentioned on my other post, we will be getting a used Honda car. I don’t mind driving a used car as long as it’s still in very good condition. It should be a medium size car since I have a child. I don’t like if it’s too small or too big also. It is important to me that I can drive it safely. To those who can still remember thief first time of driving and their first car, I know you can understand how I feel right now. I am very happy and very excited!

I Passed The Driving Permit Test

I have a good news, today I went to the driving school to attend the class and to take the permit test. I scored a 100% and I am proud of myself. My studying pays off and I don't need to retake the test. I still need to get my driving permit card at the MVD probably this coming Tuesday or Wednesday then as soon as I'll have it on hand I will call ABC Driving School to schedule my driving lessons good for 6 hours with a professional instructor. I am thinking of splitting the hours into 2 or 3 hours each day since it will be my first time driving a car here in Arizona. I am excited! 

By the way, I was gone today from 7:30am 'til 4:30pm for it including the driving time and guess what, I missed my daughter so much. I've been thinking of her most of the time at the school. It was the first time that I'm not with her for almost the whole day. Thankfully she was with her GrandMa so no worries at all. She was asleep when I left.

So Excited To Move Next Year

Both me and my husband are talking more now about finding a house and moving early next year. We're not going to buy a property bigger than what we have now. We want to be practical and enjoy life more not just work and pay the bills all the time. We have decided that no more swimming pool this time for our daughter's safety and besides we don't use our swimming pool that much so it is a waste. If we ever want to go swimming then we can just go to a community pool or somewhere. 

So can you tell how excited I am? I have been talking about this for quite a while now. I can't wait to choose the house with my husband of course. I am even thinking how it's going to look like. I want our home to be as simple and cozy as possible. I would love to decorate but not too much just very simple. There will be so much to do at first for sure but it's normal. I am thinking about personalized address plaques. I might purchase one by then. I have seen homes that has it and it looks pretty. The residential address plaques can also add beauty to a home. Don't you agree? There are plenty of them to choose from online and by just looking at it, it makes me want to buy right away. I just need to be patient and wait few more months.

I Received My Philippine EPassport Today

I am so happy coz I received my Philippine passport that we just renewed at Los Angeles last week of June. I didn't expect that it would be this quick because the processing is supposed to be 10 to 12 weeks as announced by the Consulate. I got mine within 5 weeks from the date when we applied for my epassport renewal. I am thinking that they had my passport expedited because I paid extra $20 for it at the cashier. When he asked me how much do I want to pay, $60 or $80 I chose the $80 without any question. I don't know why or maybe the processing is faster again. Anyhow, I was so excited when I opened the envelop because I know it is my new epassport. I was the one who filled out the receivers address and the sender is the Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles. So I knew right away what's inside the mail. Our vacation to the Philippines this coming December is more exciting now. 

Reminiscing My Childhood

Every time I heard about or see tarps, the very thing that comes to my mind is my childhood. At the province where we live, when you see blue tarps in front of a house it means there will be a wedding in the following day. It is quite normal to think like it because it is what we always see. Isn't that funny how we think right away when we see tarps?

Another one is it reminds me of those truck tarps to protect people from the rain and from the heat of the sun too. I miss those days when I was a child. I can say that I have a great childhood memories with my family, my childhood friends and neighbors. If it is possible, I wish could go back to my childhood even just for a day. It was so fun!

Not Much Time

It seems like there's never enough time for me to do every thing today. The clock is running so fast and I couldn't cope up of things that needs to be done. Sometimes I wish I could stop the time and do what I need to do and when I'm done I could just push start again. I guess I just need to learn how to do time management then all will be okay. This morning as soon as I woke up I fed my daughter and ate my meal and then cleaned the floor. I talked to three of my friends over the phone during three separate times today. Now it's almost time for me to get ready for workout.

Carpet Cleaning

Every now and then, we get mails from carpet cleaning or grout cleaning company. It always makes me smile every time I read whats in the front cover that says, life is too short to clean your own home. It is true and I wish somebody could clean my house. If money won't be a problem then it would be easy to just hire a company like the carpet cleaning raleigh. I know there many people who can afford to pay for it but there also much more who could't afford. I am hoping that one day I won't need to clean my own house. It would be great!

Holiday Cards

I know it is too early to talk about holidays cards right now. I just thought about ordering them online this year. I bet it would be easier and faster than going somewhere else here in our place. I remember a year before last year, we had to wait two weeks for our holiday cards to be ready for pick up. It is too long wait and I don't want it to happen ever again.  I will probably order them earlier this year so I will have enough time to send them to family and friends.

Transfering Videos To A Disc

Since we bought my hd video camcoder almost two years ago, I haven’t tried to transfer the videos to a DVD yet. There are plenty of videos that are worth saving. I just don’t know where to start and didn’t do much research to make it happen. I came across Blu ray Burner while browsing the net and I thought this is what I need. I will be able to transfer the hd camcoder videos to a disc. I’ve tried couple of times to transfer the videos but it’s just not easy because of the format. I am hoping soon I can transfer all of them to the disc and worry for nothing. Another thing that I wanted to do is to transfer a movie to my phone but I have no idea how. Muscle Pain Everywhere

Can you imagine how much muscle pain I have now after working out? My muscles are so sore right now and it is frustrating. I am not complaining because I had this before too, I am just sharing. My body muscles are sore, my back, my chest, my legs, my arms and on my side. Whew! It is really painful but it's ok because this is normal. Getting muscle pains especially after 2-3 days of working out from the first day is usual. I am pretty excited exercising again finally and I am looking forward to it every night. It really feels good to keep my self going at the gym each night.

Women's Must Have

I am not so choosy when it comes to bra as long as I am comfortable wearing it and it looks pretty good on me. Sometimes though bra is not just the right thing to wear with the clothes we have on. There are times when have to wear a Bra and Cami with cleavage cover to avoid showing off too much. I honestly don't have this kind of bra yet and I would love to buy at least a pair because I need it. I am thinking about buying a body shaper to reduce my waistline and smooth the curve too. I believe that these are things that women's must have. I just hate to look at my body fats especially in my stomach area. It is certainly embarrassing and I wish I have the Best Body Shaper to cover them off. It just doesn't feel right when people looking at us and we don't have the best looking body.

Gym Time For Me

I will be starting my workout tonight with my husband. It's been more than a year now since the last time I went to the gym to keep my blood running and my body sweating from exercise. I am pretty excited because I like to workout and especially me and my husband will get to spend time together. Actually, we will see first if my daughter will like to be in the kids club. Hopefully she will now because one time we tried she didn't like it so I end up watching her instead but that time she wasn't walking yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed this time.
